my life turned to shit less than two months after 43 took office, when wcw was sold and we were all laid off. in the years since, i've had more failures than successes, more sadness than happiness, more bad luck than good. i'm not saying that it's a direct result of having an incompetent ignorant fuckwit in the white house, but somehow i think it must be connected.
however, at the dawn of 2008, i'm here to announce, i refuse to let 2008 suck too. i will not wait until 2009 to be happy and successful again. in twelve step groups, they say "fake it til you make it." just keep telling yourself that it's true, and it will become true. so i say, forget about the fact that 43 has made some of the most immoral, shameful, and deadly decisions ever, the u.s. has no friends in the world, the constitution has been shit on, the economy is headed for a recession, and i'm embarrassed to be an american. i will instead focus on the incoming president, be it john, barack or hilary. i will focus on a country i can be proud of, a healthy mind, body, and soul, big fluffy happy puppies, and friends that i love.
