where is the joy
a friend i hadn't seen in a long time recently asked me why i don't ride my horse more often. my only answer? i watch too much msnbc. i am an msnbc addict. my after-work daylight hours are spent watching the likes of chris matthews and keith olbermann. so it was really sad to get a text friday saying tim russert had died. tim helped encourage my political junkiness. and as much as i will miss him on tv, especially with the excitement of the upcoming election, i think my biggest lesson i take from him is being joyous about life and work. you couldn't watch tim for 10 seconds without knowing that he was smart and talented, but mostly he loved what he was doing. his joy runneth over. that's something i used to have, effortlessly, but i seem to be unable to recapture it these days. maybe that also includes a little bit more riding.

It really is a big loss.
Your joy will runneth over again! And time with Lotto will definitely help get you there quicker.
Oh, and BTW, get the hell out of the house women. Enjoy summer.
