cody -- 90% of them are married. so sadly, the pickins are slim.
cathy -- the window opens out on the maintenance hangar -- that's a big silver airplane that you can't see! i've had offices with windows but also offices in old warehouses without much of a view.
The airplane through the window is a nice touch. I'd probably spend my whole day muttering, "Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue."
a real job = chain. keep temping! I haven't had a real job for a couple years and have never been happier or freer. Thankfully have also never been healthier ;)
There is never a right week to quit sniffing glue...
the nonsensical ramblings of an unemployed, er, underemployed blue-stater in the heart of red-state country.... it's pop culture, puppies, and politics.

nonsensical ramblings indeed, but unemployed? apparently not - so hey it could be worse...
oh fun, i've been temping. for 26 months. but who's counting. when i get a real job with benefits, i supposed i'll have to change that. :)
But can you fly for free?
no! flight benefits come with fulltime, benefitted job. thus, i still consider myself technically unemployed.

looks like i picked the wrong week to give up drinking.
if my temp work allowed me to pay, say, half of my bills, i'd embrace it. but no such luck.
