after a full two weeks without a fully functional computer, i finally got it fixed (thanks robert2!) and i'm back online, surfing, emailing, looking for jobs. i feel bad that my computer died the day i was working on my mix cd for swiss toni's shuffleathon so my cd is really really late. sorry poor swiss toni friend who hasn't received their mix cd yet and doesn't realise that i'm the person who is sending it!
so the worst thing about being out of work is not having any money. not a good time to have a hard drive crash. not a good time to not be able to search the internet for job openings. apparently when i do what i love and don't work, i also can't have electricity or feed my beasts. and neither can i make money watching movies..... yet. but i have managed to wrangle a couple of job interviews in the next week. a shout out to bill and stacey in wellington for the CLASSIC dilbert cartoon.

I can't even bear to check SwissToni's blog to see that we are the last 2 people to send our cds.....
more HAVEN'T been sent than have been! yay!!! we're off the hook!!
that cartoon is amazing. as usual, it is funny because it's true (shoutout to last night's "30 rock" which you should be watching!). i was just telling those kidlets in my college class today how i still don't know what i want to do with my life, but whatever it is, it doesn't pay well.---becky
